National Center for e-Learning announces the winners of the Excellence Award in its third phase "Mutamayzon" National Center for e-Learning announced the winners of the Excellence Award in e-learning in the final phase "Mutamayzon" from universities, school districts, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, government agencies and private sector companies. "Sahem" category is awarded to educational institutions that have uploaded 6,000 OER with accreditation. The winners are: King Faisal University, Tabuk University, King Abdulaziz University, Al Jouf University, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Jeddah School District, Taif School District, Qunfudah School District, Tabuk School District, Medina School District, Mecca School District, Al-Ahsa School District, Onaiza School District, Jazan School District and Asir School District. “Istathmer”category is awarded to educational institutions in which their trainees participated in uploading 400 OER. The winners are: King Abdulaziz University, Tabuk University and Jeddah School District. “Antej” category is awarded to colleges and departments that have uploaded 600 OER in its specialty. The winners are: College of Science – King Abdulaziz University, College of Business Administration - Taibah University, Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Learning - Umm Al-Qura University, College of Business Administration - Tabuk University College of Engineering and Computer Sciences - Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Department of Religious Studies (Girls) – Tabuk School District, The Committee of Education Resources - Riyadh School District, Primary Education Department - Jeddah School District, Computer Department - Al-Qunfudah School District, Department of Art and Family Education – Onaiza School District and Math Department - Asir School District NCEL also announced the winners of the Excellence Award in the category of “SHMS” members, In “Sahem”: - King Abdulaziz and King Faisal Universities won for participating in writing over 6000 accredited OER. “Istathmer” category is awarded to Universities which 10% of their members received SHMS membership and also uploaded OERs to SHMS with average 25 each. The winners are: King Faisal University, King Abdulaziz University and Bisha University. “Antej” category is awarded to 30 members and ambassadors who published more than 100 OERs. In the category of government agencies and private sector companies, the Department of Education Services in Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu won the Excellence award in both Sahem and Antej for uploading over 3000 OERs and launching a competition with over 1000 contestants.
